Easter Breakfast
Every Year the Schwenksville Fire Company puts on an Easter Breakfast. Every Member is required to be at the firehouse at 5:30 to help set up. The chairs are put down, tables set up, and place settings arranged. In the kitchen pancake batter is mixed and bacon is fried. Each year this breakfast is a wonderful fundraiser. Many people attend and all who do enjoy the delicious food.
Truck Fire
Schwenksville Fire Company responded to a call on January 18th. With gear on and truck loaded they arrived at the scene. What was it? A very involved truck fire. A short in the electric lift set this truck on fire. Luckily Schwenksville firefighters were able to get it out safely with help from Skippack Fire Company.
Truck OPPS
To better serve communities firemen need proficiency. Knowing how to set up ladders, run hoses, and properly search buildings help improve community safety. For three weeks the Schwenksville firemen have been attending a difficult Truck OPPS class. Here they learn all the advanced details of responding to a call. The final class included three stations with hours examples and explanation. After going through the stations the Schwenksville Firemen ran three scenarios. We did these with help from Lower Frederick, Lower Pottsgrove, and Oaks.
Justa Pizza Fire

At about 4am on a week day our staion got called out for a fire call. Our Neighborhood Pizzeria had fire comming from its roof. Supported by two other stations we were able to contain the fire to the freezer room and the refrigration room. thankfully the inside of the building only got minor smoke damage. Water Battles  

When the summer heat gets hot, the Schwenksville Fire Fighters know just what to do. On their pratice night Schwenksville Fire Company joined several other companes for a joint drill. Though this drill is great for cooling off, it is also a great pratice for better precision with the hose.
